David Rasche joins 'Bored To Death' cast

David Rasche has signed up to appear in Bored To Death. According to Deadline, Rasche has landed a recurring role in the third season of the HBO comedy.

His character, Bernard Morse, has been described as a rival for George Christopher (Ted Danson). Bernard, who made a lot of money in Silicon Valley, is said to be obsessed with health. He is also thought to have a fondness for Scottish terriers.

Rasche has previously worked on television shows including Rubicon, Ugly Betty, All My Children and DAG. He has had roles in movies like Burn After Reading and United 93.

Mary Steenburgen also recently signed up for a role in Bored To Death.

The show's third season is expected to air on HBO later this year in the US.
